That’s my mom sitting between the ladies, with the pretty lashes.  They are sitting on someone, but I don’t know who.  My friend Regan’s mom is to the right, typically trying to scrape a mishap off her skirt.

I like how the ladies interact with each other with contact and affection, and how the guys (in my next post) barely seem aware of one another, too cool for school.

Painting slides of the party days of my parents’ fascinates me.  I love studying those social situations, my family before I was born, how I compare with my mom now, and how my life is different… I’m becoming my mother!  Phewf, good thing I love & adore her.
